Summer’s Not Over Until We Say So Party, September 21, Port A Beer Hut
In much of the world, that last day of summer is used to pack away swimsuits, put up cushions for lawn furniture, and to dig out the sweaters we pushed to the back of our closet when summer began, but in Port Aransas, the last day of summer is nothing more than the first day of summer’s second act! It is time for live music played under the tiki roof of the Port A Beer Hut, to swing on wood swings as sea breezes cool your cheeks, and to sip margaritas, knowing there are many more beach days that lie ahead. The Summer’s Not Over Until We Say So Party, hosted by our favorite beer spot, is a way of celebrating the continuation of bare feet days, quiet nights, and all the laidback vibes of the season.

Beachtober in Port Aransas, October, Various Venues
Serving as a reminder that fall days spent at the beach promise to be the best ones ever, this next event is actually a series of festivals and events celebrating the most beautiful month of the year. Beachtober provides many ways to celebrate, including the events listed below.
Follow the Trails to Deliciousness in Port Aransas
Every day is worth celebrating and because the best celebrations are always accompanied by food, the Taco & Margarita Trail and the Sweet Traditions Trail are two local events that we can’t help but love. The chefs at participating restaurants are creating their best versions of tacos, served with their versions of margaritas and in many cases, followed by sweet treats that will sweeten the dispositions of the crankiest travelers. The list of participating restaurants changes every year, but in previous years Seafood & Spaghetti Works, Blue Water Cowboy, and Stingrays Tap House & Grill all put their spin on tacos, margaritas, and yummy desserts and we are looking forward to seeing what new treats will be offered this fall!
Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival, October 25th Through 27th, Robert’s Point Park
The history of Port Aransas has long been linked with the sea, with early settlers making their living on big boats and in the case of Farley Boat Works, building the boats the fishermen go out to sea on. The Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival celebrates that tradition, paying homage to those hard workers with modern day builds of boats, kayaks, and paddleboards. Also offering food, arts, crafts vendors, and even boat kit vendors, this sea-centric event offers a fun way to explore history and the future.
Port Aransas Farmers Market, November 10, The Pavilion at the Dennis Dryer Municipal Harbor
Port Aransas does things a little differently than other towns, and that includes how we hold Farmers Markets. It’s not a weekly or even a seasonal event; our Port Aransas Farmers Market saves up all that home grown goodness for one major event held on one day. November 10 is the day where dozens of local vendors will bring their wares to the farmers market, offering a great spot to purchase things to stock your Sandcastle Condominiums seasonal sanctuaries. Fresh produce, locally sourced seafood, meat, and dairy goods, baked goods and a whole lot more can be yours when you explore this fun event.
